Misasa Onsen

Tottori · 三朝温泉

Misasa Onsen is a hot spring town in Tottori, Japan. The water leaves the ground at 34°C, comfortably warm. Officially the water is classed as chloride spring and radioactive spring. 22 inns take visitors here. About 289,719 people a year come to bathe.

Salty water. The salt leaves a thin film on the skin, so you stay warm well after leaving the bath.

Radioactive spring 放射能泉

Contains trace radon that leaves the water quickly. Also called radium or radon springs.
