Iwate Morioka Tsunagi Hot Spring

Iwate Morioka Tsunagi Hot Spring is a hot spring town in Iwate, Japan. It measures pH 8.7–9.5 — mildly alkaline, the slippery kind. Officially the water is classed as sulfur spring. Its sources put out around 2,000 litres a minute. 15 inns take visitors here.

The classic rotten-egg smell and milky white water. It can tarnish silver jewellery, so take it off.
