Otari Onsen
Otari Onsen is a hot spring town in Nagano, Japan. The water leaves the ground at 44°C, hot. It measures pH 6.9 — close to neutral. Officially the water is classed as chloride spring and bicarbonate spring. Its sources put out around 150 litres a minute. 1 inns take visitors here with room for about 80 guests.

Salty water. The salt leaves a thin film on the skin, so you stay warm well after leaving the bath.
Bicarbonate spring
Smooth, slightly slippery water. Often nicknamed bihada-no-yu, the water for beautiful skin.
