Fukiage Onsen
Fukiage Onsen is a hot spring town in Hokkaido, Japan. The water leaves the ground at 42–48°C, hot. It measures pH 2.6 — acidic. Officially the water is classed as chloride spring, sulfate spring and acidic spring. 1 inns take visitors here.

Chloride spring
Salty water. The salt leaves a thin film on the skin, so you stay warm well after leaving the bath.
Sulfate spring
Clear water with a faintly bitter taste. Known for holding heat.
Acidic spring
Strongly acidic, sometimes below pH 2. It stings on cuts and is not for long soaks.
